Things to consider
- One visual style: whiteboard explainer, not talking heads or stock footage
- AI-written narration still needs a human read-through before publishing
NexAtlas has not hands-on tested Ankon AI yet. This summary condenses public documentation and vendor materials checked on Oct 22, 2026; scores and first-hand user reviews will be added once independent testing is done.
What is Ankon AI.
Ankon AI is a whiteboard explainer video generator. You supply a topic, a pasted script, a PDF or a reference image; Ankon drafts the narration, draws each whiteboard scene line by line in sync with the voiceover, and renders a captioned MP4 with a title, description and chapter timestamps.
It deliberately skips the editing timeline. Instead of animating shapes by hand in Doodly or VideoScribe, or filming an AI avatar in Synthesia, you get one clean whiteboard and a finished clip. In the FutureTools community snapshot of 24 September 2026 it sat at number one.
Key features.
The parts of the product that do the work
Any source, no blank page
Start from a topic, a script, a PDF, a paper or a reference image. Ankon writes the narration from whatever you hand it, so long documents become explainers without rewriting.
Ink-reveal whiteboard art
Scenes are drawn stroke by stroke in time with the voiceover on one continuous whiteboard. No clip-art collage, no fade-ins, no animator.
Captions and publish metadata
Word-by-word captions are burned into the video, an SRT file is included, and every render ships with a title, description and chapter markers ready for YouTube.
Voice cloning, 13 languages
A ten-second voice sample narrates any of 13 languages in your voice, with male and female voices per language. Vertical 9:16 and landscape 16:9 output.
Teams, API and MCP
Shared credit pools, owner/admin/member roles, a REST API with OAuth, and an MCP server that lets Claude, Cursor, Codex or Copilot generate videos from a prompt.
Fact-check and Enhance passes
Optional add-ons send scripts through an independent fact-check or double the visual richness; both cost extra credits and are itemised before you render.
How it works.
From input to finished output
Give Ankon a source
Type a topic, paste a script, or upload a PDF or image. The narration is drafted from that source, not from a blank prompt.
Pick language, voice and format
Choose one of 13 languages, a voice, vertical or landscape, then optionally add Enhance or fact-check before rendering.
Render and download
A one-minute Short usually renders in one to three minutes, a ten-minute video in five to fifteen. You get the MP4, an SRT and publish-ready metadata.
Who it's for.
Typical teams and workflows
Repurpose written issues into narrated clips for LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube Shorts without hiring an editor.
Drop in a prompt or a docs page and ship a How it works video for the landing page the same day.
Convert lecture notes into captioned video modules that can be uploaded straight to Udemy or Skillshare.
Pricing.
Public pricing checked on Oct 22, 2026
Ankon prices in credits, where one credit equals one minute of finished video. A two-credit minimum applies to every render, and failed renders are refunded automatically.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2 free credits on signup, no card. Free-credit videos may carry a light Ankon watermark. |
| Starter | $23 / mo | 15 credits per month (about $276/year billed annually). For learning and personal projects. |
| Plus | $55 / mo | 40 credits per month. The creator tier, aimed at YouTube channels. |
| Pro | $95 / mo | 75 credits per month, adds voice cloning. Aimed at agencies and professionals. |
| Studio | $199 / mo | 160 credits per month, REST API, MCP, OAuth and up to 5 team workspaces. |

Unit cost: about $1.53 per finished minute on Starter ($23 ÷ 15 credits), before top-ups.
Annual billing takes 20% off; top-ups cost $2 per credit with a $10 minimum and never expire. Ankon's FAQ still mentions a $29/month starting price while the pricing table lists $23 — treat the table as current. Enhance doubles the credit cost; fact-check adds one credit.

FAQ.
Quick answers before you sign up
Do I need drawing or video editing skills?
No. Ankon generates the illustrations, timing, narration and captions. You choose the source, language, voice and aspect ratio, then render.
Is there a free plan?
Yes in effect: two free credits on signup with no card, enough for one or two short videos. Videos rendered with free credits may carry a light watermark, which disappears on any paid plan.
Can I sell or publish the videos?
Ankon's terms say you own the videos you generate and can publish them anywhere. Check the Terms of Service for the current wording, and keep the narration factually accurate.
